Privacy Policy
This is a draft, written to plainly describe what Vitadify actually does with your data. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
Who operates Vitadify
Vitadify is operated by Deepak Pandey. It is a personal operation, not an incorporated company, as of this policy. Contact: hello@send.vitadify.com.
What Vitadify collects
- An anonymous identifier. When you first visit, Vitadify sets a random token in a cookie. Vitadify never stores that token itself; it stores a one-way hash of it. There is no way to reverse a hash back into the original cookie value.
- Your research history. Products you’ve looked at or compared, and any priorities you selected while comparing (like “price” or “bioavailable form”), tied to that anonymous identifier so it can be shown back to you on your next visit.
- Alert preferences. If you turn on alerts for a product, Vitadify stores that choice so it can notify you if something about that product changes.
- An email address, only if you choose to sign in. Signing in is optional and is only used to send you a one-time link (no password) and, if you opt in, a digest email when something you’re tracking changes.
- Photos you upload of a supplement label, if you use the scan feature, so the label can be read and compared against the product database.
- A record of “Buy” link clicks: which listing, which retailer, and the price shown at the time, so pricing history stays accurate and so Vitadify can be paid a commission where one applies.
What Vitadify does not collect
- No health questionnaire, medical history, or symptoms.
- No government-issued ID.
- No payment details. Vitadify never processes a payment; a purchase happens entirely on the retailer’s own site after you click through.
Who your data is shared with, and why
Vitadify uses a small number of service providers to run the site. Each one only sees what it needs to do its job:
- Neon: hosts the database that stores everything above.
- Vercel: hosts the website itself.
- Railway: hosts the background jobs that process label scans and price checks.
- Redis Cloud: holds temporary job-queue data (for example, a scan you just submitted) until it’s processed.
- Resend: sends the sign-in link and alert emails, if you use them.
- Cloudflare R2: stores label photos you upload.
- Anthropic: not active yet. Once label scanning is turned on, a photo you upload will be sent to Anthropic to read the label text. This section will be updated when that happens.
- The retailer and affiliate network you choose to click through to: only when you click a “Buy” link, and only the listing and price information needed to send you to the right page and record the click.
Vitadify does not sell your data, and does not share it with anyone beyond this list.
Vitadify may earn a commission from eligible purchases. This does not affect product analysis or price comparison.
Your rights
You can stop using the anonymous identifier at any time by clearing your cookies, which disconnects your research history from future visits. If you’ve signed in with an email, contact hello@send.vitadify.com to request that your account and its data be deleted.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, Vitadify will update this page and change the date below.
